A critical mentoring model

Mentoring has always been practiced in the church, formally and informally. We partner with local churches and nonprofits to move toward a critical mentoring model, creating partnerships between youth, families, churches, schools, and communities.

Training is delivered with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Chattanooga.

The roles of a mentor

01

A trusted adult friend

Every interaction shows your mentee you can be trusted: their safety and well-being come first, and you are consistent and reliable.

02

A positive role model

Someone young people look up to, whose beliefs, actions, and words line up.

03

An igniter of potential

Help your mentee discover their spark, grow their interests, and try things they've never done before.

In their words

“I also plan to go to college and become the kind of man that Wade is, so I can help another kid when it's my time.”

Mentoring participant

“Here I am, getting ready to graduate, and it had a lot to do with her.”

Mentoring participant

“We're grateful to partner with Kingdom Partners to recruit and equip mentors who walk alongside young people.”
